Most of the time, there's no warning at all for being banned by Google. You will only notice it when your site traffic starts to drop and also can be determine by the sudden drop in sales. Here are some things you should know on why websites are been banned
1) Cloaking
What does it mean by Cloaking you may ask, the definition is websites/ web-pages have been set to display different information/ contents for a search engine spider then to a actual human web-surfer. Which means a search engine spider and a web-surfer sees 2 versions of the same website/ web-page. How is it been done, e.g. a page which is been 'cloaked', is filled with tonnes of keywords and terms for the sake of getting higher rankings.
2) Hidden Text/ Links
The texts/ links are hidden in the web-page/ website which cannot be seen by web-surfers but can be seen by search engine spiders. Such acts are awaiting to be penalized so please do not try this.
3) Spamming of Keywords, Phrases
It is all too common, sometimes without deliberation from the owner. When Google finds that a website/ web-page has high repetition of the same keyword/ phrase, the consequences will be a reduce in site's rankings or even worse, been banned. Please read more about keyword density under the Title "What is Keywords Density?" under my blog or just simply click here.
4) Unsolicited Re-direction of Web-Pages
Simply means What you click is not What you get. You sees a website/web-page been shown on a search engine results, reviewing the contents you wish to read. The moment you click on it, you are immediately redirected to a different website/web-page of irrelevant contents. Such websites which you have been redirected to can be in a set of 10-100s and are tapping on the same keywords/phrases.
5) Multiple Duplicated Contents/Websites
Multiple websites consisting of the same contents is considered duplication and Google will penalize such websites or worse, the banning of such websites. Better stop or do a check if your contents have been duplicated because it is just not worth it.

What is Keywords Density?
As you all know about keywords, it is basically the term or word or phrase that a searcher/ web-surfer types into the search engine interface when he/she is looking for information regarding certain services, products etc...
Keyword density is a calculation (in percentage) of the number of times a certain keyword appears in comparison with the total number of texts/ words on a web-page.
Here's an sample on calculating the keyword density of a web-page:
E.g You have this total amount of words on your web-page = 100 words
A specific keyword you use appears 4 times on the same web-page
Keyword Density = (4 divided by 100) X 100 = 4%
Note: The standard acceptable keyword density percentage is between 3-5% to be recognized by the search engines. If you exceed, the search engines will consider it as keyword spamming which leads to penalization or worse banned from the search engine itself. If you wish to increase the keyword density percentage beyond the standard rate, it is up to your own risk.
The benefits of having a particular keyword with higher density on your web-page, increases the ratio of getting higher ranks in search engines.
